Purpose: what data we collect and why

When you send a booking request we process your name, email, phone (if given), apartment, dates, number of guests and message, only to reply, check availability and organise your stay.

Legal basis

Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Once a booking is confirmed, performance of the contract and legal obligations (such as invoicing and registration of foreign guests).

Is providing data required?

Name, email and dates are needed for us to reply. Without them we cannot handle the request. Phone and message are optional.

Recipients and processors

The site is hosted by Vercel (European Union region, Paris). Forms are delivered by ArqWeb, who manages the site, and ZeptoMail/Zoho (EU data centres) to our mailbox. Map (OpenStreetMap) and WhatsApp links only open if you click them.

Transfers outside the EU

Vercel Inc. is a US company certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention period

We keep your data as long as needed to reply and organise the service, then for the legal invoicing periods.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability at geral@acgb.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Cookies

This site does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

Video surveillance

The property entrances have 2 cameras, video only and motion-activated. There are no cameras inside the apartments.
